These dates may, however be subject to alteration, because of the proper academic calendar and official releases. Basically, admission happens through a merit system; applicants will have to complete the 12th grade with a subject stream of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, or alternatively, Mathematics and Biology. With a rank of 295792 in JEE Mains under the SC category, it is difficult to secure admission in that college in the Industrial and Production Engineering branch at NIT Jalandhar.
Even with home state quota, the cutoff ranks are usually much lower. This time it is about 50,000 to 100,000 for SC category. Your rank is too high for this competitive branch.

I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (PTU) is offering affordable tuition fees as against most private institutions. The average fee for courses like B.Arch is INR 1,00,000 to INR 1,50,000 per year, making it an easy cost-effective option for many students seeking quality education in a particular field.

Moreover, the university also grants scholarships and financial aid so that students from all walks of life can afford to be enrolled there, ensuring diversity among them.

While tuition fees are reasonable, students should consider additional costs such as hostel fees and study materials. Overall, PTU Mohali offers great value.
