The eligibility criteria for admissions to DPharm at GKU Bathinda and MGU Bhopal are more or less similar. For admissions in both universities, the candidates must qualify for their Class 12 with Science stream including PCB/ PCM subjects. However, GKU Bhatinda does not mention the minimum aggregate to be eligible for DPharm admissions. On the other hand, MGU Bhopal mentioned that a minimum aggregate of 50% is required to apply for a DPharm course.

In recent times, a government job is more preferable than a private job. After completing a two-year Diploma course candidates from GKU Bathinda, candidates have various options that they can pursue, such as Govt. hospital Pharmacist, Drug Inspector, Drug squad in police, Regulatory Affairs Officer, etc. To get these job roles candidates are required to qualify for government exams, such as UPSC, SPSC, SSC, etc.

Yes, Guru Kashi University reserved seats for the DPharm course in the Sports Quota category. Guidelines for admission to the reserved category of sports. It is recommended that in Guru Kashi University 5% of the total number of seats in each course be reserved for sports persons. To be eligible for the course, aspirants must be Class 12 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Mathematics or Biology as the additional subject from a recognised Central/ State Board or its equivalent.
