If you belong to the OBC category of students and are aiming for NIT Jalandhar MSc courses, then you must aim to secure a cutoff rank of up to 1809 or less. For 2025, the first round cutoff list is out, wherein the closing ranks varied between 1336 and 1809 for the students belonging to the OBC category under the AI quota. So, considering the first round cutoff, it is better to have a lower cutoff rank to improve your chances of securing a seat at NIT Jalandhar for the MSc programme. Below is the MSc specialisation-wise CCMN first round closing ranks of OBC category students:
| Course | CCMN R1 Cutoff 2025 (OBC AI Quota) |
|---|---|
| M.Sc. in Physics | 1809 |
| M.Sc. in Chemistry | 1523 |
| M.Sc. in Mathematics | 1336 |
