Yes, Thapar University does offer internships to M.Tech students. Candidates admitted to the master of engineering courses in flexible mode can go for a one-year internship at the same place where they are working. However, students must complete their two-year coursework if they want to go for the industry internship. The total duration in this case will be three years (six semesters).

Thapar University offers several specialisations in MTech/ ME courses. These specialisations are offered in the different fields. Moreover, the names of the offered specialisations are Mechanical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Structural Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, VLSI Design, Biotechnology, etc. Now, it is really hard to choose any one best specialsaition out of it because every specialisation has its own methods of learning and career opportunities. 

Therefore, to choose the best specialisations, candidates must refer to their career goals and the job role they want to pursue.

Thapar University M.Tech Scholarships are offered to students in the form of an assistantship and as a monthly stipend. Candidates can apply for the scholarships through the official website of the university by fulfilling all the eligibility criteria. Additionally, Thapar University scholarships are provided to students on approval basis and the amount disbursed by AICTE. Look at the names and eligibility criteria to receive the scholarships in the table given below:

Yes, Thapar University does offer scholarships to MTech/ ME students who are GATE-qualified and non-GATE-qualified. The university usually offers scholarships to MCA students in the form of assistantships and stipends. Yes, candidates appearing in their final exam for the BTech degree can apply for an M.Tech at Thapar University. However, such candidates have to submit their undertaking at the time of counselling stating that they are applying at their own risk, as their result of the final exam has not been declared, and ensure that they do not have any backlogs in previous semesters. Further, the undertaking also demands that students not expect any backlog in their final exam.

Yes, candidates can pay the Thapar University M.Tech application fee offline. In case the candidate is paying the application fee offline, they are required to send the printout of the application form and must produce it at the time of the interview. 

Candidates can pay the offline application fee through the DD in favour of Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology and payable at Patiala) to “In-charge Admission Cell, ' Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala (Punjab)-147 004.
