As far as academics and sports are concerned, LPU does not impose any restrictions on girls. However, when it comes to safety, LPU takes the utmost care of the girls students and does not shy away from imposing restrictions as well. The female guards are deployed in the girls' hostels. There are female security guards who look after the security of the girls' hostel.

Typically, the following steps are included in the selection process for B.Sc courses:

Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the different colleges, typically completeing the 10+2 level of schooling with a certain percentage in relevant disciplines.

• Entrance Exam: For B.Sc programmes, several colleges have their own entrance tests.
• Selection on merit: Many institutions accept students depending on their achievement in the qualifying exams (10+2). Merit lists are created, and candidates are chosen based on them.
• Counseling/Interview: Some universities may offer counselling sessions or interviews to determine whether an applicant is a good fit for the programme.

As for CUET, it's important to note that CUET is a relatively new entrance exam, and not all colleges accept its scores. Each college has its own admission process; some may not consider CUET scores for B.Sc admissions.
