IIM Amritsar's hostel is presently located approximately two kilometres from the Airport in Blessing City. The Society accommodate students and faculties. There is a twin-sharing room with a bed, study table, and other amenities like Wi-Fi, a chair, a cupboard, etc. in the IIM Amritsar hostel. Hostel costs at IIM Amritsar are 50K INR annually.
These are the hostel fees: About INR 50,000 per year goes toward male hostels, INR 50,000 goes toward female hostels, and INR 10,000 per month goes toward mess fees.

IIM, Amritsar has witnessed participation from several top companies during its placement drive. Over 120 companies participated in IIM Amritsar placements 2023. The top companies that take part of the placement drive at IIM, Amritsar are Accenture, Adani, Deloitte, Cognizant, KPMG, Yes Bank, Infosys etc. The highest salary package recorded at INR 38 LPA and average package stood at INR 18 LPA. IIM Amritsar placements 2023 showed that there were with 120+ recruiters participating and offering Jobs to 257 Students. Around 25 PPOs were offered during the Placement Drive too.

There are a lot of PGs and hostels near IIM, Amritsar. Few of the good PGs and hostels are IIM college hostel, Virk PG, Dream city PG, Modern PG etc. Girls PG in Verka is quite popular and affordable in that area, the rent here is 8k/ bed. The maximum rent of PGs nearby IIM, Amritsar will be 18-20k with all the facilities including rent, food, electricity, AC, wifi, laundry, cleaning etc., and the minimum rent per bed would be 3-4k. Girls PG in manwala is the finest PG nearby where the rent is 30k/ room. The cheapest PG is Girls PG in Gandhi niwas where the rent per bed is 2500.

Yes, Guru Nanak Dev University offers a two-year full-time B.Ed course. The programme is offered through the university Department of Education. Admission to the course is offered based on merit in the entrance examination conducted by the university.
