Yes, the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) board has been recognised by the Ministry of Education of India. The high school (10th) and senior secondary (12th) mark sheets from NIOS are considered valid for government jobs. With your NIOS marksheet, you can easily apply for jobs such as SSC CGL SSC GD RRB and other government job exams. You can only apply for those posts for which you are eligible, such as clerk posts with a 12th grade marksheet and peon posts with a high school marksheet. Therefore, if you cannot go to regular school due to any reason, you can pursue your studies through the NIOS Board and get a government job.
