As your question already states, you have a low CAT score and NMIMS is currently considering its own NMAT score for admissions. If your CAT score is low and you want to get admission in NMIMS I will suggest you to apply for NMIMS test and target a score of 210 or plus for admission in NMIMS.

Hello Anand Ratna Maurya, as per my information lateral admission in engineering colleges is given directly into the second year and not the third year. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about this aspect.
