Hello Manpreet,
The eligibility for AME is 12th but many institutes accept diploma holders also. One needs to apply online to the desired institute. But some may have peculiar rule. Thats all.

No, NITs don't provide any lateral entry, you need to attempt only JEE Mains to get admission in its undergraduate course. However, for the admission procedure details, refer to their official website.

For admission in M.Sc, basic eligibility is that you must pass your Bachelor's degree with 55% or more in B.Sc or any equivalent stream.
