Hello Akshay,
Government colleges in Maharashtra fill its seats via MHCET only. So, you need to apply this and score very well to get reputed colleges like COEP, VJTI, etc.
All the best.

As a BITSian, I can easily say that all three branches are equally good at Pilani campus. However, if you are evaluating on criteria of and opportunities, and placement records then following are my recommendations in order of precedence: CS, Electronics and Mechanical.

Hi Yash Anand,
You belong to the OBC category, so you have scored more according to your cut-off marks of 49. You can easily get NITs, but not the good ones.
You can apply for counselling through www.josaa.nic.in
If you don't get any of the NITs, you can get IIITs or GFITs.
These are also government colleges which admit students through JEE Mains.
All the best.

This is tough to say that, but any college will not get the admission expect JEE or any CET at least you have to qualifying any exam to get the admission. Another option is management quota, but for that, you have to pay donation.
