MTech course full-time is two years long and the part- time course is 3 years long. While the syllabus remains the same, the semester exam evaluation differs depending on the mode of the program.

The M.Tech cutoff for MNIT Jaipur varies according to the specialisation. According to the trends of the last three years (2022-24) there is no uniform movement in the cutoff ranks during counselling across specialisations. M.Tech in Computer Engineering cutoff in 2024 was 590 which was below the cutoff rank in 2023 which was 490. At the same time, the cutoff rank rose in M.Tech in Structural Engineering from 519 in 2022 to 490 in 2024. Therefore, there is no one trend that the programme has seen in its cutoffs.
