Candidates seeking admission to an MSc course must ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements. Admission to the PG course is through IIT JAM. Based on cutoff marks, candidates are required to appear for CCMN counselling procedure for seat allotment. Aspirants can fill out the application by visiting the JAM website.

 Admission to the course is entrance-based. Aspirants are required to take JEE Main and JEE Advanced. The selected students based on merit in JEE Advanced further have to participate in JoSAA rounds of counselling. The seat allotment process is then carried out as per performance in counselling and other selection rounds.

Yes, the branch can be changed at the end of the second semester. But, the student must meet the required criteria- a CGPA greater than or equal to 8.0 and 7.0 for SC, ST and PD applicants.  They must have completed all prescribed course credits for the first two semesters.

For BTech, as per the JoSAA R6 2022 cutoff for general category students, the closing rank for popular courses like CSE was 2430, and 3257 for AI and data science. The cutoff for Bioengineering went till 14,933. In comparison to 2021, the rank for the CSE course went from 2897 to 2430 in 2022. IIT JAM 2022 closing rank in the Fourth Admission List for MSc Physics specialisation at IIT Jodhpur stood at 600. In addition, GATE COAP 2022 Seat Allotment rounds were concluded after 12 rounds of counselling. Read more about IITJ Cutoff here.

Yes, the institute offers scholarships to meritorious students. Merit cum means scholarships are offered in each academic year to all the categories of students. To avail of the scholarship, an applicant must satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria. The application form for a scholarship can be collected from the Office of Students, Administration Building.

  1. For BTech at IIT Jodhpur, candidates need to apply via JEE Main  followed by the JEE Advanced application. The application process for JEE involves form registration, form filling, document upload, and payment of the application fee.
  2. For MTech course admission, students need to fill out the application for GATE through the GOAPS website . 
    MSc course aspirants need to complete the IIT JAM application process.
  3. For the MSc CSS course, candidates are required to apply by visiting the IITJ PG application portal . To fill out the application form, aspirants have to complete a login ID on the JAM Online Application Processing System.&

No, its not compulsory . As some of the college / universities give admission on  merit basis only while others conduct entrance exam  to give some relaxation in fees. This totally depends on the state where you want to pursue B.Ed.
