Candidates who have passed HSC can apply for the UG and Diploma courses, whereas a Bachelor’s degree is required for PG courses.

For Diploma in Engineering, the minimum requirement is a pass in class 10th.

A valid score in JEE Main/ Uni-Gauge is required for B.Tech program.

B.Sc (Agri.) admission is subject to JET score.

The university conducts an entrance exam called GIETEE for admission to some courses, and candidates can also apply with valid scores of other qualifying exams such as JEE Main, OJEE, CMAT, MAT, CAT, or XAT.
