Candidates must fulfil certain eligibility requirements and adhere to the admissions procedure in order to apply for MBA admission to the Department of Management Studies (DoMS), IIT Roorkee. applicants must have a bachelor's degree in any field with at least 60% of the possible points (or 55% for SC, ST, and PwD applicants) or an equivalent CGPA. The main shortlisting criterion for admission is having valid CAT scores. Candidates who make the short list are asked to take part in additional selection processes, which include a personal interview (PI) and a written ability test (WAT). A composite score that takes into account the CAT percentile, academic standing, professional background, and WAT and PI results is used to make the final decision. 

IIT Roorkee accepts MBA admission based on the CAT entrance examination scores. Candidates must appear in the examination and score well to be called for interview by the institute . Selection chances increases if the candidate has a prior work experience. 

Another way to get admission in MBA programme at IIT Roorkee is through JEE Advanced JoSAA counselling process but this is exclusive to the IIT graduates with a CGPA of 7 or more . Candidate will be directly called for the personal interview by the institute in this case .
