According to media reports, IIT Roorkee secured 742 offers and 4 international offers during placements 2025 (phase 1). In addition, 163 companies visited the campus during the Phase 1 IIT Roorkee placements 2025.
Earlier, as per media reports, the highest domestic and international package offered during IIT Roorkee placements 2024 stood at INR 150 LPA and INR 205 LPA, respectively. The average package offered during IIT Roorkee placements 2024 was around INR 20 LPA.

Candidates must fulfil certain eligibility requirements and adhere to the admissions procedure in order to apply for MBA admission to the Department of Management Studies (DoMS), IIT Roorkee. applicants must have a bachelor's degree in any field with at least 60% of the possible points (or 55% for SC, ST, and PwD applicants) or an equivalent CGPA. IIT Roorkee accepts MBA admission based on the CAT entrance examination scores. Candidates must appear in the examination and score well to be called for interview by the institute . Selection chances increases if the candidate has a prior work experience.
Another way to get admission in MBA programme at IIT Roorkee is through JEE Advanced JoSAA counselling process but this is exclusive to the IIT graduates with a CGPA of 7 or more . Candidate will be directly called for the personal interview by the institute in this case .

Quantum School of Business at Quantum University is broadly categorized as a Tier 2 institution. HSEE provides an alternative route to enter IITs without needing to take JEE, specifically for Humanities and Social Sciences fields. The exam tests verbal ability, quantitative ability, reading comprehension, general awareness and analytical skills.
