Kursk State Medical University is well-known for its MBBS program. The course extends for 6 years and is a full-time course. English Language Proficiency score acceptance for admission to Kursk State Medical University MBBS programme is IELTS. The tuition fee for MBBS at KSMU is approximately USD 5,500 (INR 4.8 L) per year.

The classes for MBBS at KSMU commences from the month of September every year. The students are given a time period of 3-4 months for getting enrollment in the university. The application form filling starts from the start of July till its deadline of Sep 15, 2025. However, international students are recommended to submit applications by Aug 15, 2025 to allow enough time for visa processing.

With an acceptance rate of 74%, it is relatively easy for students to get admission in the Kursk State Medical University. The students are required to secure a minimum of 50% in 12 classes with biology, physics, and chemistry as their subjects. 40% marks are required for those of reserved category.
