Far Eastern Federal University has its own security services and its members are there in every building. Additionally, the university uses pass system, hence, no strangers can enter the hostels or study buildings without permission. The university also have emergency security service phone number available 24x7. Also, a police station and a fire emergency station are situated near the campus.

Yes, all foreign students in international programs at Far Eastern Federal University get accommodation in campus hostels. There are 25 hostel buildings on the campus. Maximum distance from hostels to study buildings is just 15-20 minutes. The hostel fee can range as per the room type and can range between Russian Ruble 3,800 – 4,400 per month.

The duration of the Far Eastern Federal University MBBS (General Medicine) course is 6 years. The language of instruction of this course is English. No, any internal scholarship except Sports Scholarship is not offered to foreign students at FEFU. However, foreign students can study for free as funded by the Russian Governmental Scholarship Quota. The details for the scholarship as per this quota are given below. Also, note that this quote is applicable on tuition fee only and does not include the following:
- All other expenses including visa fees, medical exam fee and dactylography, travel to the study place (air tickets), health insurance and non-insurance medical expenses, dorm expenses, and other personal expenses.
