To be qualified for admission into the B.E./B.Tech course in Kathir College of Engineering (KCE), applicants should have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Aspirants have two alternatives to seek admission to the B.E./B.Tech course: (1) through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions counselling - admission will be on merit list as per 10+2 PCM marks and students will require Tamil Nadu nativity documents in case you have not studied Classes 8-12 in Tamil Nadu; and (2) through management quota where admission will be accepted directly as per 10+2 PCM marks without the need for the entrance examination. In both ways of admission, the applicants would still be required to submit an online KCE application form, apply online for  allocated counselling method or given seats, undergo document verification, and pay admission charges to secure their seat.

Candidates can get B.E./B.Tech admissions into the Kathir College of Engineering (KCE) either based on Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling or on the management quota. Candidate should have completed their 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for both. The admission in TNEA is merit-based on their 12th marks and candidates requiring to provide nativity proof documentation if they have not studied in Tamil Nadu from class 8 to 12. In management quota, candidates must apply or fill in application directly to the college to be eligible for admission. After submission of their application with their 12th marks and without taking entrance exam, they will be selected based on 12th marks. Whether candidates are selected under TNEA counselling or management quota, after the rebuttal, students need to attend for document verification and pay the admission fee to confirm their seat.

B.E. / B.Tech is the most sought after course at Kathir College of Engineering (KCE) because of its industry oriented professional skills training, practical exposure and good placement opportunities in the branches of Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical and Civil Engineering. For candidates to seek admission in the B.E. / B.Tech programme, they are required to have passed 10+2 pattern with physics, chemistry and mathematics, as compulsory subjects, with overall minimum marks of 45% for general and 40% for reserved classification. Admission is based mainly through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling, which will rely on the students marks from the 12th standard, plus the nativity verification if they did not study their 8th to 12th education in Tamil Nadu. Candidates may opt to apply for the additional management quota basis their performance, but again do not separately orientate themselves with admissions tests.

Hi.As per the 2024 cutoff list for Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Renigunta, the last round closing ranks for B.E. / B.Tech admission was between 38335 and 134194. The most in-demand B.E. / B.Tech specialisation among the General HS category was B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, for which the cutoff rank in 2024, 2023 and 2022 stood at 38335, 34784 and 33269, respectively. From the cutoff data of the past three years, it is evident that B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering saw a rise in its last-round closing ranks.

Among the OBC and SC categories of students, the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET last round closing ranks 2024 for the same competitive B.E. / B.Tech specialsiation were 59021 and 112556, respectively.
