TANCET exam is conducted for all candidates who apply for the same. Every year, Anna University releases the TANCET question papers for the previous exam term for candidates to prepare for the upcoming exam. Yes, The Madras University requires the TANCET exam for MBA admissions. Anna University conducts the TANCET exam for state level MBA and MCA admissions. PG admissions in Tamil Nadu for MBA and MCA courses is done based on TANCET exam followed by the TN MBA MCA counselling process.

As per the official website and various sources on the web, students are selected based on entrance exam scores followed by counselling and interview rounds. Students need to submit score secured in any of the accepted national or state-level management exam. Hence, CMR Centre for Business Studies admissions are entrance-based instead.
