In order to be eligible for the Rajalakshmi Engineering College BTech course, aspirants must meet the eligibility criteria. Candidates who passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate in case of OBC category candidates; 40% aggregate for Most Backward class; just pass for SC/ST candidates) with PCM stream are eligible to apply for the course. REC BTech courses do follow semester system in their curriculum. Each year is divided into two semesters of 4-5 months each. The college offers BTech in various specialisations which all have a minimum duration of four-years or eight total semesters.
