No, the last year cutoff for general in EEE was 4661 - 5309 (open and close) and in ECE, it was 3807 - 3982 (open and close).
Try for other options. All the best.

Yes, placements are good in IHM-Hyderabad. You get Industry as well Retail chain placements.

You can opt NIT Warangal, because if you are not having interest in a particular branch, then it is better not to compromise on the college. Moreover, if you opt NIT Warangal, based on your 1st year performance, you will have a chance to slide to core branches.

NIT Surathkal is better than the other two NITs. Actually, NIT Surathkal is in 2nd position in NITs across India.

OU is a government funded university whereas CBIT is not. Culture in OU is different to that of CBIT.
I think OU is better for placements and other stuff.
