Yes, you can get admission in M.Tech in transportation engineering through management quota but management quota admission and fee cost is not advertised openly by any of the colleges/universities across India as being a paid seat it totally depends on the discretion of the college authorities. Eligibility for MA in English is as follows: Candidate should have passed 3 years Bachelor's examination under any recognized university in any discipline and should have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% aggregate marks for SC / ST candidates) to be eligible for MA in English.

Only when you pay fees for the allotment against your choice in the assigned college, you are able to opt for your better branch, but it may be in another college and it may not be girl's college. You have to weigh these pros & cons before deciding to opt for second round of counseling.
