I am afraid you might not get immediately as a fresher because you will be having a tough competition from the students who have graduated in the same filed form the Hotel Management institutions. Starting salaries in this field are not more than INR 2.50 Lakhs per annum. Thereafter it would depend upon your credibility with the employers and exhibition of your skills. So think twice before taking the plunge.

I would recommend Dhruva College of Management for PGDM course. They are having specialization in HRM, marketing, finance and business analytics. They are having good infrastructure and good food with hygienic kitchen. The faculty members are trained from IIMs and are well-experienced in the corporate world. There are conceptual learning methods, day to day update of the syllabus and improvement training sessions with Toastmaster clubs. About 95% of the students got their internships from the college. Yes, if you are from Hyderabad, then it is the best option. Else, if you have other options, then you can choose based on your preferences. But, IBS has good placements and you can join IBS for MBA.

You need to secure a percentage of 70-75% in MAT to get admission into reputed colleges in India including NITW. The first shortlist based on CAT/MAT score will be followed by group discussion and personal interview.
