Sheffield Hallam Uni courses are based around the "Hallam model". Instead of balancing 4 to 6 classes simultaneously, students usually study up to 4 modules a year and 2 at a time.
The academic year is divided into blocks or semesters, where students only focus on 1 or 2 modules at a time. Several courses also come with the option of placement years.
