International students must apply online at the University of Edinburgh via the portals mentioned by submitting an application fee and required documents. 

Below are the steps to submit an application succesfully: 

Step 1-Choose a program: International students have to choose a programme among various undergraduate, graduate, and certificate programs, and the eligibility criteria.

Step 2- Check Entry Requirements: PG courses require a 2:1 honours degree and IELTS with 6.5 overall,  and for UG courses, a high school diploma is required with IELTS as an English proficiency test.

Step 3-Application Portal: UG applicants can apply via UCAS,  and for PG courses, it can be done via the Edinburgh's Online Portal (EUCLID).

Step 4-Aplication fee: GBP 27.50 via UCAS  (for multiple course choice),  GBP 50 per application (paid on the PG application portal) is required to be paid.

Step 5-Submit Required Documents: Documents such as Academic transcripts, English test score, Personal statement, and Reference letter (s) should be submitted on the portal.

Step 6: Wait for Decision: UCAS notifies students when the university responds, it typically takes a few weeks to months for them to respond to a UG application. Decisions for PG applicants are usually made within four to eight weeks.

Step 7: Pay the tuition fee

(GBP 1 = INR 115.39)

As part of the University of Edinburgh application process, taking the GRE is not required. However, other admission requirements are there which are mentioned below:

• CBSE (Class 12^th): Total score of 80% with 75% in three subjects,  consisting of English.
