The top scholarships are given below:

QMU International Scholarship:

This scholarship is for all international students who get admitted to first-year of graduation. Up to £3,000 will be given to support the student. To be eligible for that student must be self-funding with an international tuition fee of more than £12,500 per year.To avail of the scholarship students must fill form on time.

British Council GREAT Scholarships (India) 2024:

This scholarship is open to Indian nationals for pursuing all programs offered by the universities. A total of 10,000 GBP will be given to help with the tuition fee for the students.

The eligibility criteria for Indian students at QMU are given as follows:

  • Higher Secondary Certificate
  • English Language Proficiency Scores 
  • IB score of 27
  • Bachelors Degree for Graduate courses

So, yes an average Indian student can get admission to Queen Margaret University. It also offers scholarships to international students, which helps them financially.

Queen Margaret University is ranked #851-900 in the QS World University Rankings 2024. According to The Complete University Guide - University Ranking, the university has been ranked 103 in 2024 and 93 in 2023. According to The Guardian - University Rankings, the university has been ranked 63 for 2024, and 89 in 2023. The university's Business Management - BA program
ranked 6th in The Guardian University League Tables for Business and Management.

There are several things to consider to know that a university is expensive. The tuition fee for the courses at Queen Margaret University ranges between INR 8 Lakhs to 26 Lakhs, however, when you convert INR to Euro some amount (3 to 4%) is deducted. 

On-campus or hostel can charge up to £5282 to £5282. If you don't opt for a hostel, then the room rent will cost around £1200, and the food and transport will cost you around  £1000. Apart from that, books and stationery also need to be added. 

After calculating all the expenses, studying at this university can be referred as slightly expensive.

Yes, getting part-time jobs while studying at Queen Margaret University is easy. The university also provides many job opportunities for students. The university has an online system by which students can view and apply for the job. 

If you have a study visa, you can work for a maximum of 20 hours per week, per hour you can get an average of £12,247 to 14,000.

Overall, part-time jobs are easily available.
