Yes, international students are permitted to work while studying in Brighton University. If studying a degree course at the University of Brighton, they will be permitted to work a maximum of 20 hours per week during term time. However, if studying at below degree level (for example a Pre-Sessional course), then the concerned students will be permitted to work a maximum of 10 hours per week during term time.

University of Brighton does conduct interviews before admissions and each course takes a different approach towards them. At Brighton University, subject areas that usually require an interview are Architecture, Diagnostic radiography, Medicine, Midwifery, Nursing, Occupational therapy, Paramedic science, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Social work and Teaching.
