International students are eligible to be working part-time, with not more than 20 hours a week. Both options are available. Students can opt for on-campus and off-campus jobs based on their preferences. Note that on-campus jobs offer more wages in comparison of off-campus jobs, although minimum wages are set by the State Government, and it varies in the USA. An international student must have a valid F-1, or a J-1 visa and a social security number(SSN) which is required for paying taxes in the USA.

Northlake College is a community college and it does not have global rankings. The college is a part of the Dallas college system and Dallas college has been recognized as a STARS Silver Level institution by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).
