If you have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or more across all of your undergraduate work and a bachelor's degree from an approved institution, you will be considered for admission to any MBA or MS programme without submitting a GMAT or GRE result. A GRE score for the MA in Psychology is optional. The MSEd in School Psychology, PsyD in School/Clinical Child Psychology, PhD programme in Clinical Psychology (Health Care Emphasis), PhD in School Psychology, and PhD in Mental Health Counselling all require a general GRE score that is no older than five years.

- MIT's infrastructure such as the research equipment etc. is the state of the art. A huge amount of funding from various organizations for cutting edge research is received by MIT
- In the institute like MIT, more focus is laid on research than classroom teaching, whereas, at IITs, classroom teaching takes more time than research
