For Grand Valley State University admission, you require the following things:

• After completing and submitting the undergraduate admission application form, you must provide an official high school transcript and the necessary documents.
• After submission, your application will get reviewed based on high school courses completed, cumulative GPA, standardized test scores (if submitted), grade point trend, class rank, and other factors provided by the applicant.
• Make sure your high school subjects include English (4 years), and Science (3 years) with 2 years of laboratory science. Also, 2 years of a single foreign language, 3 years of social science, and 3 years of college-preparatory mathematics.

As an undergraduate, students need to follow the below procedure to get considered:

-Fill out the admission form: Students can fill out the international admission forms online in one go otherwise the session will expire after 20 minutes. They need to pay USD 30 (INR 2,490).

-Submit Required Documents: Original or certified certificates and grade reports of secondary and postsecondary work.

-Write personal statement: Write a page or two about your goals and reasons for why you want to get into Grand Valley State University.

-English proficiency test score: Students must satisfy the English proficiency requirements with these tests:

-Review process: The international student forms will get reviewed based on high school courses completed, cumulative grade point average, standardized test scores, grade point trend, rank in class, and other factors. After reviewing the application form, GVSU will respond in 4-5 weeks.

-Financial Support Verification: The international students and their sponsor have to sign the Financial Support Form and submit original bank statements to demonstrate the necessary amount of support is available after getting accepted from Grand Valley State University.

For graduate programs, international students need to fill in some additional requirements and application materials specific to the graduate programme along with the above.

According to unofficial sources, students who are applying for admission to GVSU must submit their application three months before the programme deadline. The Grand Valley takes four to five weeks to respond after reviewing the application. Students receive admission notification through mail. Also, the application letter includes information regarding entry, residency requirements, and particular protocols.

During admission, international students are required to register I-20 application which is provided via FedEx. Also, you need to submit the passport and financial documents including, cash deposit, certificate of deposit, term deposit, saving account, investment account, and checking accounts. 

After receiving your I-20, you can move forward to visa appointments, where you must cross-verify your details (spelling of your name, date of birth, programme of study, and funding source) and pay the SEVIS fee (I-901 Student and Exchange Visitor Information).
