According to unofficial sources, students who are applying for admission to GVSU must submit their application three months before the programme deadline. The Grand Valley takes four to five weeks to respond after reviewing the application. Students receive admission notification through mail. Also, the application letter includes information regarding entry, residency requirements, and particular protocols.

The Grand Valley University application deadlines for undergraduate and graduate programs fall in two intakes. The university does not accept delayed applications. To get into the GVSU, students must fill out the application before the deadline and fulfill the eligibility criteria to get accepted early.

The Grand Valley State University application fee for undergraduate and postgraduate admission is USD 30 (INR 2,489). According to the Fall intake 2023, a total of 23,350 students were enrolled, of which 20,405 were undergraduates and 2945 were graduate students. A total of 16,511 students sought for admission in the Fall intake of 2023; 83% of those who were accepted enrolled in different courses.
