Mercer's test optional policy allows first-year students with a GPA above 3.35 and transfer students with a college GPA above 2.5 to apply without submitting SAT or ACT scores. Mercer does not practice Early Decision. Early decision is a process in which a student can apply early to be considered for admission before other students. Mercer has a holistic approch towards reviewing applications. It looks beyond GPA and standardized test scores. International students whose native language or language of instruction is not English must submit an official language test score. Mercer is less selective, with an acceptance rate of 74%.Mercer
