While Virginia Tech is among the renowned universities in USA, it is not part of the Ivy League Universities. The Ivy League universities are considered the best universities to study in USA, for a number of reasons, but mostly due to the study environment. 

Ivy League students have access to some of the best industry standard resources, are taught by Nobel Prize winning faculty and receive job offers from a number of Silicon Valley based, global organizations such as Google, Microsoft and Apple.

The University of Missouri has department-specific admission requirements for many popular majors. For example, undergraduate applicants are typically required to have a certain set of subjects in high school, such as advanced mathematics and sciences for Engineering, foundational business courses or skills for Business, and relevant math and computer Science courses for Computer Science.
