Xavier University undergraduate students are eligible for Merit scholarships and awards. The university offers scholarships and awards to recognize students for their achievements. Any student who applies for Xavier University admission are automatically considered for one of these awards. For the Fall 2023, these academic scholarships and award amounts range from USD 21,000 – USD 25,000 annually. Note that these awards are renewable for a total of four to eight semesters of a full-time undergraduate student.

Xavier University admission requirements vary as per the course levels. General requirements for Xavier University admissions are given below:

- For admission to bachelor's courses, the applicants must have completed high school / secondary school
- For admission to a master's degree or doctoral programme, students must have completed a bachelor's degree
