At the University of San Francisco, if English is the candidate's native language or if the majority of their education has not been taught in English, they are required to submit a proof of their English proficiency as part of their application. USF accepts official results TOEFL,  IELTS and Duolingo. However, if the candidate can fulfill any condition listed below, they do not need to submit their English language proficiency (ELP) scores:

Courses in STEM field has also been ranked decently in the last 5 years. The Mathematics course was ranked at 35 position in 2022 according to ARWU Shanghai Rankings whereas Physics was positioned at 24th rank. QS World Ranking also placed Physics and Astronomy at 44 position in 2022.

When your admission decision is ready  Office of UG Admissions will send you a notification. If you are admitted to UMD you may also get a general welcome lettermail from the admissions office a few days later and if you complete the application by January you will obtain an email by early April.
