Harvard Business School is definitely better and considered superior globally for its Ivy League status and US Networking. Although LBS generally does better in terms of graduate employability.
Look at the comparison given below -
- It is easier for Indian students to get into LBS due to its acceptance rate of around 20% while Harvard Business School acceptance rate can go as low as 4 to 5%.
- HBS tuition fee is very high and the MBA at LBS can be done in 1 year, saving significantly.

No, the University of Melbourne is better than Harvard University when it comes to rankings, as Harvard generally ranks among the top 5 in the world but the U of Mel ranks 19th globally. Look at the pointers given below -
- Indian students should go to Harvard University if they prefer the Ivy League prestige and research funding.
- But if the goal is easier admission (with 77% acceptance rate) at a top university, an easier and more affordable pathway to PR in Australia, then the University of Melbourne would be a better choice for Indian students.
