Student who fail to pay their tuiton and fees on time may be barred from doing the following at TTU:
- Registering for classes
- Obtaining transcripts
- Accessing grades
Failing to pay the fees by the end of the semester can lead to denial of credits for the work done during that semester. In some cases, a student's enrollment at the university may also be cancelled.

Yes, TTU Texas allows tuition fee payment in installments via structured payment plans. Options include a Budget Payment Plan (4 equal installments) and Emergency Payment Plan (3 installments).
To enrol in the same, students need to pay a standard fee worth USD 25 (INR 2.4 K) per semester.

Texas Tech Uni offers a fixed tuition option to all incoming UG and transfer students. This keeos the tuition rates fixed for a set period. However, some other mandatory or course-related fee may still change over time.

Yes, Texas Tech is a solid choice to pursue a MS in CS programme in USA. The university offers a 31-credit hour program with strong post study employment outcomes at companies like Amazon, Meta, Google, and Microsoft.
The programme also opens the door to a 24 month STEM OPT Extension in the US, down the line. It can be completed for USD 17,649 (INR 16.8 Lakhs) per year, a much lower tuition rate compared to top universities in the US.

Red Raider Orientation at Texas Tech Uni is a mandatory on-campus programme for all incoming UG students. Students to go through mandatory academic advising and registration and complete some online modules regarding financial aid and campus resources.
They can also opt to participate in the Red Raider Camp (a 3-day experience to get introduced to campus traditions and make new friends).

Yes, students can change their major at Texas Tech Uni. To change a major, follow the steps mentioned below:

- Select the correct application
- Choose the requested major
- Refer the course admission page. Make sure the entry requirements are met.

The GPA requirements at Texas Tech Uni varies for different programs. However, students will need an equivalent GPA well above 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. The incoming international students of the Class of 2022 had an average GPA of 3.7.
Indian students should aim to match or better this during their Class 12th exams.

Texas Tech generally takes 2 to 4 weeeks to provide an admission decision after receiving a completed applicaton. As admissions for Spring intake begin in June, students usually recieve their admission decisions by end of July.
Some courses may have a higher wait time. Students are advised to apply as early as possible, to avoid any last-minute hassle.

A valid GRE or GMAT score is mandatory for entry to some PG courses. However, that is not the case for all courses offered by Texas Tech Uni at the graduate level.
Programs like the MBA does require an GMAT score. Students are advised to check the course-specific requirements on the Texas Tech University admissions page on Shiksha Study Abroad, before applying.
