Minimum English proficiency scores required for Indian applicants applying to the PG or Phd programs are mentioned below:

TOEFL

  • Phd Applicants - 90

  • PG Applicants - 80

IELTS

  • Minimum score - 7

A few programs may require GRE/GMAT scores but submitting an English language score including IELTS, TOEFL or MET is mandatory.

No, students are not required to submit SAT/ACT scores for undergraduate programs. Student's application will not be affected with or without SAT/ACT scores. It will be evaluated based on their grades, academic awards, essays and the rest portfolio.

Yes, you can change your major at the University of Pennsylvania, however, the ease of changing your major depends on the school within the university, you wish to switch to.

Changing a major at the College of Arts & Sciences (CAS) is relatively straightforward, however, doing so at a different school say the Wharton School is far more competitive & requires better academic requirements from students.
