International UG applicants at Brown University can apply via Common App. Students must complete the Secondary School education for admission to UG courses. On the other hand, for admission to PG courses, the applicants are required to have a Bachelor's degree. Additionally, an English language proficiency score has to be submitted too. The application fee is USD 80 for UG courses. For PG courses, check the application fee from the university's website. A few of the documents required to apply to this university are:

From Fall 2025, Brown University has planned to become need-blind for all Undergraduate international students. This move is a part of the ongoing commitment to admit students irrespective of their ability to pay for tuition, and to ensure the sustainability of financial aid initiatives for future generations. Brown University meets 100% of the demonstrated financial need of the students. This university does not offer merit-based scholarships. However, students can avail any external-based scholarships.
