International graduate students are allowed to work on campus without a permit. However, one needs to qualify for either Curricular Practical Training (CPT) or Optional Practical Training (OPT) in order to work off campus. Students are allowed to work part-time (up to 20 hours per week) throughout the semester and full-time during breaks from school.
