Wayland Baptist University is a private Baptist University in Texas. It is the oldest higher education institute in continuous existence on the High Plains of Texas. Moreover, WBU is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award Associate, Master's, Baccalaureate, and Doctoral degrees. There are around 4,000 students on the campus.

Wayland Baptist University acceptance rate is around 54%. This means that this university is selective at the time of admission. So, to take admission to this university, the applicants must have a good academic background. Also, they must meet the entry requirements. For admission to UG courses, the applicants must have completed High School. On the other hand, for admission to PG courses, the applicants should have a Bachelor's degree.
