BYU charges a non-refundable application fee of around USD 50 (INR 4.2 K), from international students, as part of its application process.
The payment of the said fee is mandatory, unless you're granted a fee waiver by the institute, & no applications can be processed without the payment of the mentioned fee.

An F1 student can work up to 20 hours per week on-campus when Arkansas University is in session. During the winter, spring, and summer breaks, students are eligible to work 40 hours a week. Working even 15 minutes more than 20 hours a week is a violation of the F1 visa status and carries serious consequences.
