Considered a difficult school to get into, in Fall of 2024, this university received 43,891 applications of which only 4,828 students were rolled out an offer letter resulting in a Tulane University acceptance rate of 11%.

From Fall 2020 to Fall 2024, the acceptance rate has hovered around 9% to 14.5%, with a notable dip to 9.6% in Fall 2021, indicating heightened selectivity that year. While the number of applications fluctuates, the university generally accepts between 3,600 to 4,800 students annually.

The roommate pairings are not based on gender identity for LGBTQ+ students who enroll as part of the True Colors Community. As part of the program, students who have successfully enrolled for the university & its housing facilities are then paired according to their preference of genders.

This information is not shared with the room-partner & in-case no partners are found as per the preferences, then a random partner is assigned from the community.
