Students who secures above 80% of successful candidates in the relevant stream from the respective board of examination in Class 12 or equivalent and pursuing regular courses (not correspondence or distance mode) in colleges/institutions recognised by All India Council of Technical Education, UGC Act, 1956, Medical Council of India, Dental Council of India and respective regulatory authorities. Students choose to pursue Diploma courses at Doon Institute of Medical Sciences are not eligible under the scheme.

To get admission to the Doon Institute of Medical Sciences (DIMS) in 2024, candidates must qualify for the NEET examination. The National Testing Agency conducts the NEET examination. DIMS does not conduct any entrance exam for admission to any of the courses offered, except for the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS).

M.D. cutoff is based on NEET PG scores for admission to the MD and MS courses. As per NEET PG cutoff the Round 1 closing ranks for top courses including MD in Radiodiagnosis closed at 159 and MD in Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy closed at 388 for the General category All India candidates. Also, NEET PG was concluded after the release of the Round 5 Seat Allotment. Candidates seeking admission can refer to the table given below to check out the BHU cutoff 2023 MD and MS courses for Round 1 closing ranks for the General category All India candidates for top courses:

As per the campus placement many giants visit the campus every seasons for different job role in different sectors such as SDE, analyst, banking etc.

Axis Bank, America express, Adobe, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, HCl are major giants visiting the campus.

Seats are reserved in each branch for different categories. Around 15% of total seats i.e 125 seats are reserved for DASA candidates.14% seats are reserved for female candidates. 50% seats are reserved for state quota in every NIT. 27% for OBC ,10% for Ews, 15% for SC, 7.5% ST, and 5% for PWD candidates are reserved.
