The intake capacity of CSE at Sharda University is 180 but most of the colleges including Sharda University teach CS and IT students together, so the combined intake capacity would be 300. There are around 4-5 sections in the CS department and each section includes 50-60 students.

Sharda University BTech admission is entrance-based. Students need to qualify for either SUAT or JEE Main (All India rank of up to 3 lakh) entrance exams with a valid score.

You will not get direct admission in Sharda University. 

The admission process for BTech is based on qualifying entrance exams such as JEE Main/ SUAT. Candidates with JEE Main rank less than 3,00,000 or Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) rank less than 50,000 are exempted from Sharda University Admission Test (SUAT).

For the admission in RGIPT many entrance exams score are accepted such as JEE Mains and advanced 

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) accepts the scores of the JEE Mains and MHT-CET for admission to its undergraduate engineering programs. Additionally, for its MBA program, it accepts valid scores of entrance exams like CAT, MAT, or GMAT. For Masters in business administration one need good marks for the MBA degree.You must also clear CAT exam after the degree.And there must be good score in CAT exam.The minimum cutoff for MBA at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) in 2023 is a candidate must hold a minimum of 60% in 12th standard, with a relaxation to 55% for SC/ST/PwD candidates. Additionally, candidates should have at least 55% marks in their Bachelor's degree to be eligible for admission
