The university offers eleven MSc specialisations at GBU. However, the eligibility requirements also differs as per requirement. For example, MSc in Biotechnology required BSc degree in Life Sciences/Biology/ Biotechnology or any area of Biology from any recognised university/ college with minimum 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ ST) or equivalent grade. The fees for SMS Varanasi is INR 1,44,000 for MBA (a two-year course).
The fees for MBA and MBA [International Business] is Rs. 50007.00 for First year & Rs. 49281.00 for Second Year (Revised from Batch 2017-2019) and The fees for MBA [Agribusiness] is Rs. 90,000/- PA + Regular Fee Rs. 30767/-PA (Rs. 28642/- Odd Sem. & Rs. 2125/- Even Sem).
So, SMS Varanasi is expensive than Institute of Management, Banaras Hindu University.
