No, there is no provision for additional benfits to the students who are residents of Varanasi. However, the university may admit students under Employee Quota. Wherein, son/daughter of BHU employees get benefits under the quota. There are 10% of seats of total admission. Additionally, the OBC, ST, and SC quota makes it up to 25%. Hence, there are 48% of seats for the general category candidates. The information mentioned here is taken from the web and hence, is indicative.

A two-year PGDM program, through a trimester structure, is offered by IMS Ghaziabad. The Association of Indian Universities (AIU), the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), and the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) have accredited PGDM as being comparable to MBA. After graduating, candidates can apply for PGDM programmes. The total fees for the MBA/PGDM programme is 9.5 Lakhs. The eligibility to take admission is minimum 50% in Graduation. The admissions is based on a valid score in MAT/XAT/CAT/GMAT. The shortlisted students are contacted to particiapte in the group discussion, and personal interview.

The course aims at enhancing critical thinking, reasoning skills, and intellectual skills, particularly in the retail sector. Admission to the MBA is based on the All India Selection Test (AIST), which is conducted by the Insitute. Aslo candidates have to qualify the eligibility criteria: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any Institute / University recognised by law in India.
