There are in total of 15 batches of CSE out of which 12 of them are of B.Tech CSE and rest of them are of integrated CSE. Each batch consists of 30 Students. So in total 15 X 30 = 450 students of CSE. The strength is super high and you will meet people from different diversity.

CGPA is calculated on the basis of the relative marks of a student. If you have scored more than average students then your grade will be more than that of others irrespective of your marks. Similarly, if you have scored less than others then your grade will be less than others no matter even if you have scored 18 out of 20.

The placement rates of the college are not that bad for CSE students. Almost 100% of the students get placed each year. In case of recession, then yes, getting placement becomes a little tough but college does its best to place each and every student. For other departments, like ECE and Biotech, companies do come but they expect you to have knowledge of computer as well.

You can find PGs near to JIIT both for boys and girls in Sector 62. Moreover, the college itself provides the facility of a hostel for both boys and girls. So you have both the options available. The hostel provided by the hostel provide all the amenities.
