 Institute of Medical Sciences BHU accepts admission based on national entrance exams. The institute accepts national entrance exams such as NEET, CUET, and others. IMS BHU admission requires a minimum aggregate of 50% in Class 12  (PCB). Furthermore, they must qualify NEET UG for their category that is, OBC/ General/ EWS.

The university campus has a central library. Shiv Nadar Hostel fees for first-year undergraduate students of BTech, BSc, BMS, BA,  and B.Des courses are INR 175,840,  which includes the living expenses, mess charges, and laundry.
