Galgotias University offers academics supported by laboratories, projects, technical activities, and workshops. Faculty experience can vary across departments. Campus life includes clubs, sports, cultural events, and competitions, while hostels provide on-campus accommodation. For B.Tech, it can be worth considering after comparing fees, branch, placements, facilities, and personal priorities.

If you mean the Integrated BCA + MCA at Galgotias University, the current listed fee is:

  • Duration: 5 years
  • Tuition: ₹92,000/year
  • Exam fee: ₹20,000/year
  • Accidental insurance: ₹650/year
  • Caution money: ₹2,000 one-time
  • Student ID: ₹1,000 one-time

So the basic academic cost comes to roughly ₹5.63 lakh for 5 years, excluding hostel and other personal expenses.

It's a good option if you already know you want to continue from BCA into MCA without applying separately for a postgraduate programme.

Yes, students get opportunities for hands-on projects and practical, industry-oriented learning. The exact projects and virtual lab facilities depend on the specific program.

Overall, Galgotias University is worth considering for B.Tech. Academics and faculty support are decent, campus life is active with clubs and events, and hostel facilities are available. Your experience will depend a lot on your course, faculty, and how actively you use the opportunities provided.

For CSE/IT, the placement scenario at Galgotias University seems fairly active, with companies from IT, consulting, and other sectors visiting for recruitment. The opportunities are good, but students' skills, coding practice, and interview preparation make a big difference.

Students get support through aptitude training, communication sessions, mock interviews, resume guidance and placement-focused activities. It can be quite helpful if you actively participate and prepare alongside it.

The main difference lies in each track's area of focus. AI/ML centres on artificial intelligence and machine learning, Data Science focuses on analysing and modelling data, Cybersecurity covers digital security and ethical hacking, while Full Stack Development is more focused on building web and software applications. All of these specialisations include core CSE concepts, so the best choice depends on the field you genuinely want to explore.

For B.Tech, it is better to compare colleges according to your priorities instead of relying only on rankings. Galgotias University offers a large campus, varied student activities, industry exposure, and several CSE-related programmes. KIET, AKGEC, ABES, and GL Bajaj are also worth evaluating on factors such as academics, placements, fees, location, and campus culture before making a decision.

It depends on the counselling rounds.  Early and mid-round cutoffs for CSE core remain well below 5 lakh, but final extended or spot/special rounds mostly notice wider shifts.

The official minimum passing criteria to even be considered for the merit list is 40 marks out of 100 (or 40% of the total exam weightage).
