The JEE Main exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is conducted for admission to BTech in most colleges all over India, not only for the JP Institute of Engineering and Technology. The JEE Main exam is conducted twice a year. The results for session 1 were released on February 12, 2025, and the results for session 2 were released on May 23, 2025. It depends on the course in which the student is interested. JP Institute of Engineering and Technology offers MBA, MCA, MTech, BTech, and After 10th Diploma courses. The basic eligibility criteria for each course require the student to have a minimum of 45% in the previous qualification. Along with this, the student needs to have a minimum valid score in CUET PG for admission to MBA and MCA, and JEE Main or JEECUP for admission to BTech, and After 10th Diploma courses, respectively. Candidates meeting all the admission requirements can apply by appearing for the respective counseling or directly filling out the admission form.

To be eligible for admission to BE/BTech course at JP Institute of Engineering and Technology, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in class 12 in a relevant stream from any recognised board. Eligible students will have to appear for the JEE Main exam and score valid marks to be eligible for the course.
