Placement offered at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University (DBRAU) differs between programs. In the 2023 placement season, the median salary for undergraduate 4-year courses like B.Tech was INR 3.86 Lacs per annum (LPA), whereas postgraduate 2-year courses like MBA recorded a median salary of INR 6 LPA. Interestingly, certain MBA students have received offers as high as INR 25 LPA. But placement levels can be decent; for example, only 20-30% of the mechanical engineering batch got offers with the best being in the neighborhood of INR 4 LPA. Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University (DBRAU), Agra admits students on both entrance examination and merit basis depending on the course. The university administers entrance tests for admission to some of the undergraduate and postgraduate courses to test the aptitude of the candidates.

For admission to several programs Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University (DBRAU) formerly known as Agra University, requires entrance exams. Candidates must take national entrance exams like JEE Main in order to enroll in undergraduate programs like B.Tech. Many postgraduate admissions such as M.Com., M.Sc., M.F.A., and M.Lib.I.Sc need university conducted entrance exams. The exact dates of the 2025 exams have not yet been disclosed. To know which is a better choice, students must weigh both options based on important factors such as fees and the highest salary. As per official sources, the fees to pursue MBA at BMSIT and JSS Academy of Technical Education is INR 7 Lacs and INR 1.17 lakh, respectively. In terms of fees, JSS Academy of Technical Education is a better choice.

Yes, in BBA and BCA, there is merit-based admission, and marks in Class 12 are enough. But for BTech and MBA, entrance exams like JEE Main and CUET are required for admission.

The DPharm programme at APJ Abdul Kalam University (AKU) offers a competitive seat intake of 180, making it a more accessible option for students. On the contrary, the DPharm seat intake at IIMT University is relatively lower. The IIMT university offers a total of 60 seats for its DPharm programme. Both universities have a quite similar Shiksha rating of 3.4 out of 5, and 3.7 out of 5, respectively. As per the above comparison, AKU is more accessible in terms of seats and IIMT University offers better academic quality as compared with AKU.

 Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) accepts Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores for undergraduate admission, including most courses. However, AMU's Faculty of Law has its own entry requirements for admission to its Master of Law (LL.M.) program.
